Dupont Le Grand Dupont Savoir-Faire Popote lighter in black brings together two of the Maison's most celebrated signatures: the expressive Popoté lacquer technique and the versatility of a dual ignition system. A craftsman hand-applies irregular touches of lacquer using a specialized stamp, creating a surface that catches and refracts light differently from every angle no two lighters identical.
The body is finished in deep black Urushi lacquer with a diamond-point guilloche cap and palladium accents. Where this piece sets itself apart is its dual ignition: switch between a soft yellow flame for everyday use and a powerful blue torch flame when conditions demand it — all in one lighter. As always, the unmistakable "Cling" sound upon opening announces its presence.
Built through a rigorous 300-step artisanal process, the Le Grand Dupont is engineered to last, with precision construction from structural shaping to laser welding. Supplied empty of gas; a screwdriver is included for flint changes. Refill with red gas (REF 435-SINGLE), compatible flint: red (REF 000650).
