Vintage military jacket - no tag inside to specify date. Jacket in beautiful shape except small amount of white stuff on one sleeve - like someone put their elbow in some spots of paint. I don't know if the white will come off.
The Eisenhower jacket, or "Ike" jacket, is a type of waist length jacket developed for the U.S. Army during the later stages of World War II. It was intended to be worn on its own or as an insulating layer beneath the M-43 Field Jacket. Since then there have multiple updates to the design of the field jacket. To this day, uniforms of the U.S. Border Patrol, along with most allied agencies within its broader, umbrella department, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency (USCBPA) and the National Park Service (NPS) have a dress jacket that is nearly identical to the Ike jacket original.

- Condition: Excellent ( Missing inside label and a small amount of white -what looks like paint on one sleeve), all stitching in excellent condition

- Approximate Size: (note sizes tended to run smaller in these vintage clothes)
- Chest/armpit to armpit 21 &s 42 inches around
- Shoulder seam to seam is 18.5 inches
- Sleeve length is 24 inches 1 button on each cuff
- Length is 24 inches.
- Bottom edge is 41 inches around
- Slide buckle to tighten slightly on both sides of the waistband
- Lined in a heavy cotton fabric
- No patches
