Survival Kids delivers an elevated co-op experience that harnesses the enhanced capabilities of Nintendo Switch 2. The brand-new console’s innovative communication and game-sharing features allow players to seamlessly connect, strategize and work together as they navigate the challenges of survival.

Players take on the role of four curious kids who, after discovering a tattered map, set sail on a fateful journey – only to be swept into a mysterious hidden world. Stranded across a chain of uncharted islands resting on the backs of Whurtles (whale-turtle creatures), they must rely on teamwork to explore, gather resources, and craft essential tools. With support for both local and online co-op, up to four players can chop, cook, fish, and solve environmental puzzles. All while facing the unpredictable dangers of their surroundings.

Originally released on Game Boy Color in 1999, Survival Kids was ahead of its time, blending open-ended survival mechanics with exploration, crafting, and storytelling – long before the genre became mainstream. Now, this modern reinterpretation expands on the original’s spirit of adventure, introducing fresh co-op gameplay elements to offer new ways to survive, explore, and adapt.
