For something particularly star-studded, the Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble is a knockout pick of seldom-seen Gibson specifications. This limited release from the iconic name comes together with a selection of rare appointments from the Gibson library to add up to another modern classic.

Establishing things with a few standby Gibson features, the Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble starts in a familiar fashion with a solid non-weight-relieved mahogany body. This tangible weight and rich baseline tone produced by the mahogany are matched with a AA figured maple cap for a bright and crisp tone right off the bat. For the body's visual presentation, Gibson lets us in on the first of the Double Trouble's sleeve of tricks.

Entering the limelight among the many Gibson finishes of history, the Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble is fitted with a full-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer Vintage finish. This finish job, differing from your standard gloss lacquer you might find on other Les Pauls, imparts a well-loved character off the rip. The full-gloss Vintage finish comes already lightly faded to replicate the looks of a Les Paul that's already been treated to years of age without any overt relic or wear treatments. On top of this, each finish for this limited line of Les Pauls differs slightly model to model, resulting in individual guitars that aesthetically unique.

From here, a mahogany neck takes its place with a SlimTaper profile. This notably speedy and slender neck enables quick moves up and down the guitar's full register while a rosewood fingerboard bears twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Acrylic trapezoid inlays appear along the rosewood for a bold and bright visual element. On the Double Trouble, playability is anything but with its slim neck and rich rosewood.

This Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble clock in with a duo of refined Gibson humbuckers. In the bridge position, the Double Trouble features a Burstbucker 61T alongside the neck's Burstbucker 61R. Playing with a robust and crisp sound, these pickups are hand-wired with audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors to enable colorful mixing through their vast amplified spectrum. Observant readers may notice something particularly special about these pickups. The Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble is fitted with Double Classic White bobbins – a particular rarity for Les Paul bobbin color combinations. Audibly intriguing and visually unique, these pickups play with all the excitement you've come to know from Gibson.

Touching on the finishing elements on this Double Trouble model, this Gibson comes fitted with a host of fine hardware specifications. A Graph Tech nut aligns along the headstock with Grover Rotomatic tuning machines and Kidney buttons. Enabling easy stringing past the headstock, these features are matched with a nickel-plated ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece at the scale's opposite end. This special Les Paul travels with an included hardshell case. Limited to fine hundred pieces worldwide, this unique release from one of guitar's premier names makes for quite a bit of excitement.

Rolling out the red carpet with unique Gibson style, the Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble is a stellar example of Gibson design in motion. Grab one of these limited pieces and get into a little trouble yourself.

Three Speeds, Two Charge Options, Three Interchangeable Whisk Heads
I like this electric milk frother—it enables you to simulate café-style drinks at home. Three speed settings make it easy to switch from mixing matcha to whipping up thick, creamy foam for lattes. It also comes with three interchangeable whisk heads, so it is not just for coffee—I made French Toast with it the 1st time out. It can handle other tasks, like blending eggs, cream, and even protein shakes. The LED battery level display is up front right below the power button and shows state of charge as well as increasing battery level during the charging cycle. The dual charging options—either the magnetic charge stand or the USB-C charge port on the side of the motor—make it convenient for home or for travel. Best of all, all the detachable whisk heads clean up fast, so using it daily does not feel like a chore. I will say that I prefer a momentary one-speed switch instead of cycling the speeds (9K RPM, 11K RPM & 13K RPM) with the power switch. It spins up very fast and to shut it off you have to keep pressing the power button through faster speeds and before you can shut it off, it overflows the cup sometimes. You can also long press the power button to turn it off, but it usually takes too long and still overflows—I wish it was more controllable. I found that the corkscrew-hook head is the best of the three to tame that effect.

Good companion to a coffee setup
This electric frother is a great companion to have in a kitchen/coffee setup and I've been using it to mix my morning coffee. The frother includes a stand which serves as the charging base and multiple attachments (likely won't really see too much use realistically). My only downside is that the stand situation is a bit lackluster as the wireless charging feature requires you to line up the two pins at the top to the stand and balance the frother. Alternatively the frother also has a USB C charging port (sadly not USB C compliant as it can't be charged via USB c to c). The frother itself cycles between different levels of speed when you press the button and it is pretty strong; being able to very easily swirl and mix large amounts of coffee leaving mine nice and frothy. I've also been using this to mix drink powder mixes to great effectiveness. The other attatchments don't really hold too much value to me (other than maybe the whisk for eggs) but is nice to have other options included. Overall this frother is a massive step up over me using a spoon to stir my coffee.

My coffee is now judging your coffee.
I’m a simple man. All I wanted was decent foam on my morning coffee without paying $7 at Starbucks like a sucker. What I got instead is this charcoal black, LED-equipped, triple-whisk, rocket-powered milk frother that feels like it should have a NASA logo on it. This thing has three speeds and an actual digital battery display. I caught myself staring at the 1% accuracy battery percentage like it was the stock market. “We’re at 87%… we’re still frothing kings today.” The magnetic charging dock is so satisfying it should be illegal. I literally say “goodnight” to it when I put it back on the stand. The spring whisk? Velvety microfoam so perfect my wife asked if I was having an affair with a barista. The balloon whisk made whipped cream so fluffy my kids thought it was a cloud that fell into their hot chocolate. And the hook whisk? Blended my protein shake with zero lumps, a miracle previously only achieved by professional athletes and people with patience. Battery life is ridiculous. I’ve been using it twice a day for two weeks and it’s still at 64%. This frother could survive a zombie apocalypse better than I could. The only real downside? I now judge other people’s coffee foam in public. Saw a sad flat latte the other day and whispered “that man doesn’t own the Dropology frother…” If you like coffee, matcha, hot chocolate, or just feeling like a kitchen god, buy this immediately. It’s the most over-engineered $30-ish gadget I’ve ever loved. 10/10 would froth again.

Powerful and I love the charging base and attachments
This is surprisingly more powerful than I thought it would be. It will whip up an egg for scrambled eggs as well as froth your milk. It came with 3 attachments and a charging base. You can charge it using the base or directly in to the frother using the included usbc. I have had battery operated frothers that really weren't that great. This one is blows them all away. I use it mainly to stir my coffee and scramble my eggs and I'm sure I will find many more ways to use it. Its a great value and looks nice on my counter top.

Can't turn it off quickly. Charging stand falls over easily.
This Electric Milk Frother Handheld: Wireless Starlight Black comes with three stainless steel mixer attachments, a charging cable, and a stand that holds the frother with magnets. The attachments are friction fit, they are easy to change and stay securely in place. The frother has three speeds, the speed changes by pressing the On button. Which is why I deducted one star. The problem is you can not turn the frother off quickly. You have to either cycle through the speeds, or hold the button for 2 seconds. When making a chocolate drink, I could not turn the frother off when my drink was about to spill and it made a mess. I recommend getting a frother with a momentary on off button that you hold down to keep it running and let off to stop it. I removed a second star because the base of the charger is narrow and light making it easy to fall over. It has to be taped to the counter with double sided tape.
