Inspiration:

I tried to capture that magical feeling that I sometimes get early in the morning on the beach when the water is crisp and clear and it looks as if it is sparkling. At those times the crystal waters resonate in my soul and in that moment, everything is just perfect! The sea (specifically at Cape St Francis) is a muse that sparks inspiration through its raw beauty, and mystery. I wanted to focus on the silky smoothness of calm waters and mimic the rays of sun on the water. 

Artist Bio:

Isabelle is from Cape St Francis and is currently busy with her first year of Visual Communication Design at University of Stellenbosch. She received a distinction for Visual Arts in matric and has always felt the need to give expression of her creativity through sketching and painting. Isabelle also loves to read, cook and spend time Frankie, her Italian Greyhound.
