Q: Does this have vibration damping? Any of the iphones with OIS (optical image stabilization) gets ruined by vibrations of motorcycles https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT212803
A: While the double ball and socket system offers a degree of vibration damping, no additional vibration damping is built into the Quick-Grip holder itself. To our knowledge it is an overall low percentage of customers that report issues, but we also hear about failure rates among other products that offer vibration damping. The safest route would be to avoid any mounting solution for a phone that has known issues with certain vibration profiles.
