Hailing from Gibson's Bozeman, Montana acoustic factory, the J-45 Studio Walnut is constructed with generations of Gibson acoustic know-how. Traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing makes an appearance on this J-45 to start it all out and ensure a balanced and concise tonal palette.

The J-45 Studio Walnut starts out with its Sitka spruce top finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. Meeting up with this Sitka spruce, this J-45's walnut back and sides contributes a strong base off which the rest of the experience can bloom. This construction contrasts Gibson's usual mahogany-body J-45s and results in a unique tonal experience.
