This is a small slab of Pacific Madrone (Arbutus menziesii) grown and sustainably recovered on San Juan Island, Washington. This slab has one live edge and one squared edge. The bark on this one is only partially present -- you'll probably want to remove the rest and show off the beautiful underbark color and textures. Slab has been wet down with alcohol (safe for the wood grain) in a few photos to give you a preview of the finish.
