Recorded over five months across three London studios, Are You Experienced features some of Hendrix's most iconic tracks, including "Purple Haze," "Hey Joe," and "The Wind Cries Mary." These songs, alongside others like "Foxy Lady," helped the album reach number two on the UK charts and number five on the Billboard 200 in the US, where it remained for 106 weeks. Widely recognized for its cultural significance, Are You Experienced was added to the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress and is ranked fifteenth on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. This vinyl edition, released on July 29, 2014, offers a high-quality listening experience, preserving the revolutionary sound that continues to influence music today.
