Featuring vocalist Jeanne Lee and members of the Art Ensemble of Chicago, the album blends spoken word, radical politics, and avant-garde sound. Highlights include a soulful take on Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Lady and the driving Touareg, inspired by Shepp's experience at the 1969 Pan-African Festival in Algiers. A powerful statement of liberation and legacy, Blasé bridges generations of Black musical tradition.

I absolutely love these pillows. They couldn't be more perfect! I have spent years buying and throwing out pillow after pillow.
