Mesquite Block M-1015 3" x 5.8" x 21.7" 12.3 lbs. This is a large, sound slab of Texas Mesquite. The colors are the deep reddish brown of mesquite heartwood with dark brown bark as pocket inclusions within the block and intersecting several faces. This slab blank was cut from the outer portion of a burly log and contains numerous clusters of burl buds within a beautifully complex grain pattern. The block is rough-sawn. Given its large size, we are providing additional photographs -- please scroll through to see all, as only 3 display by default. There are several pith-associated, age-darkened cracks throug this block. They are discontinuous, and the block is sound. They are partially opened and are candidates for filling with epoxy, if desired. Note - the pith-related, radial cracks in Mesquite are not dynamic drying features, but are formed by severe stress on the tree during growth (think Texas hurricanes and tornados). They are unlikely to grow any larger. |

Perfect for Prom!

I bought the suit for prom for my son. It was last minute. It was better than expected! Nice looking! He looked great! The pants were big on him but he has a slim build. There is elastic in the waist. I added a couple of buttons to pull the elastic band to shrink the waist. It was perfect! The length didn’t need any hemming. Jacket was a great fit. I ordered a Small. My son is 5’7” and 135 lbs.

If my teen wouldnt grow anymore id buy him every color right now. Will 100% buy again for his next dance/prom. This is such a well made suit. He is wearing a size small. 5'6 135 pounds. Fit perfect, looks and feels very expensive. Everyone asked where it was from. 1000/10 recommend.
