On her first new album in five years, Valorie Miller writes about one of the most beautiful pieces of land near Asheville, North Carolina - but not in a way one would expect. The narrative of Only The Killer Would Know emerged after Miller discovered that her acre of land in Swannanoa sat adjacent to, if not in the middle of, a hazardous waste area overseen by the government. Dealing with health issues and eventually leaving the property, Miller finally figured out the connection years later by talking to her former neighbors and independently researching the site. "It's a big, scary, horrible subject, and a lot of these songs grew out of that," she says. "There's not much you can do about those places. They will be toxic for our lifetime and for lifetimes to come. Writing a song is always how I've addressed things in my life, but I've never had an inspiration quite like this." Recorded in Asheville with rising producer Kayla Zuskin, the album begins with "Apocalachia," with wrenching lyrics that confront the situation head-on. "Field of Flowers" then offers a poignant message about growth and accountability, especially when it comes to how we treat the earth. Miller lifted a phrase from the national anthem for "Home of the Brave," a song about personal fortitude that she wrote in anticipation of a local show around the Fourth of July. "You hear that term in detective shows, when somebody has insider information," she says. "With Only the Killer Would Know, the 'killer' refers to the people who dump that stuff in the ground. Some eerie, dreamlike vibe seeps into the later songs on Only The Killer Would Know, due to the innovative Asheville musicians that Zuskin brought into the sessions. In the studio with a female producer for the first time, Miller describes the whole experience as not just smooth, but "shockingly relaxing." "Before this album, I've always gone in the studio and tried to figure it out with barely any money. That can hold you back in certain ways, especially if you're nervous and unsure about the people you're working with," she says. "It's a huge relief to make this album. I've always wanted to make a record that I really like from start to finish, and I'm so glad that it happened. I'm a late bloomer, I think. I feel like, moving forward, I could make even more music this way."

Helps my coughing
4.8 stars. This helps keep me sleeping at a good angle to prevent night coughing. Also, it's great for relaxing and watching tv in bed. I find that it is Goldilocks level firm - just enough to be supportive but soft enough for comfort. I wish I'd gotten the roll pillow now :-( It's hard to make my bed look "made" with this on it - no matter what color I get. I keep it on the side & out if sight til I need it. I do like the material & thankfully it's removable for cleaning, but I can tell it's going to wear with a lot, so I do wish it were easier to find more covers for it so I could have one on while washing one. Overall, I like this a lot. The only thing negative is that I can see that it will "pill" & fuzz up in places with more use. I do use this every night. One warning: As with any products like this that are suctioned close for packaging - be VERY careful. I always hold one corner of the plastic to open a little vent before I cut more to remove the pillow and let it "fluff". It would be easy to snip some of the fabric...

Helped my husband get a good night's rest after surgery.
Color: Dark Grey & White, Size: Adjustable 9&12 Inch + 1 Head Pillow
We bought this after my husband's heart surgery, and the doctors wanted him to sleep in an elevated position for a few weeks. Before this, he was just stacking some pillows behind his neck, which did not get him a comfortable night's rest. His first night using this was a game changer for him. It was the first time he was able to sleep through the night. It was just the right height, and just the right level of soft/firm. Once he's done with it, I think I'll steal it from him and use it for reading in bed. The little neck rest was super helpful too. Thanks to whoever invented this, and sells it at such a reasonable price.

Improved Sleep
Color: Dark Grey & White, Size: Adjustable 9&12 Inch + 1 Head Pillow
I got this to help with my sleep since I can't lay flat. It works great. My back started hurting because of the angle but that's because I can't sleep on my back and slide down on my side. It's very comfy and works well for what I need it to do.

Very Comfortable
Great! I was a little concerned when it came so tightly shrink wrapped, but a day or two later and it’s in great shape. It’s actually pretty comfortable, good angle. It’s a good width and pretty long to accommodate all body types. I like it can be two heights. My adult kids said it felt like memory foam. I can add my own pillow too to further adjust to my liking. I occasionally get bad heartburn or sick where I need to sleep sitting up. This helps me do that in bed. I tried using it every night at first because I usually sleep with two large stacked pillows, but I’m a side sleeper and it eventually hurt my neck. So, not great if you sleep on your side. I also just lay a pillow case across it to keep clean. You can unzip and take off the cover for cleaning, but I almost never get stuff like that back on right. I got the dark gray cover and I like the soft feel. I’m glad I got it.

Lifesaver while recovering from rotator cuff surgery
This pillow was a lifesaver, it’s sturdy yet comfortable and can be used many different ways! Great price and size too! I like that when I opened it, there was no smell! If you’re looking for a wedge pillow, this one will do the job!!
