This limited edition Fender Custom Shop '61 Telecaster is constructed with an alder body and 5/4 quartersawn maple neck in a 60 Style Oval "C" profile. A 9 MM AAA rosewood fingerboard meets the neck with 6105 fret wire and twenty-one frets. This Custom Shop Tele is outfitted with a Fender Custom Shop Relic finish treatment that is on display across the body and neck. The finish replicates one of a guitar worn and experienced beyond its years.

Two hand-wound Relic Telecaster pickups bring that classic single-coil twang and snap to this guitar. A hand-wound Twisted Tele neck pickup is matched with a hand-wound OBG bridge pickup. Together, these pickups produce a nuanced take on the Tele tone with plenty of character.
