Description:
Cortec® ElectriCorr® VpCI®-286 Conformal Coating was designed to extend long-life performance of new and repaired electronic assemblies, especially those which are under adverse corrosion conditions such as high heat and humidity. This non conductive coating is a technological breakthrough in a new generation of circuit board conformal coatings; combining outstanding moisture intrusion prevention as well as superior rust resistance with Cortec® VpCI® technology. The VpCI coating forms a barrier against microscopic dendrite growth, termination and surface corrosion, moisture, fungus, dust and other contaminants. This conformal coating protects printed circuit assemblies by providing a sealed microenvironment around the circuit board and its components.
Packaging:
Available in 12oz (340g) aerosol cans. Sold in a box containing 6 cans.
How to Use:
Spray a very light mist of ElectriCorr® VpCI®-286 over clean boards, spraying top to bottom. Allow coating to flow around components. Rotate board 90º and apply up to two additional coats for desired film thickness; allow board to cure. ElectriCorr® VpCI®-286 can be removed using solvents.
Typical Applications:
VpCI®-286 extends circuit board life and enhances reliability. Use for field repair and manufacture of printed circuit boards.
