After the dissolution of their former band, The Hilltops, Hudson and Stirratt moved back to Oxford and, joined by drummer Matt Brennan, began performing and recording roots rock. Dog Days is the 1995 release from Blue Mountain and is highly regarded as a classic in the alt-country/roots rock scene.
