Artisan Rosario Leiva of Guatemala brings new life to recycled CDs in these beautiful and fascinating dangle earrings with sterling silver hooks. She melts the CD scrap in a mold, then artfully applies droplets of acrylic to achieve her desired colors--purple, turquoise, and yellow for this pair of earrings--and then fuses the CD material and acrylic together using a blow torch. The resulting effect is magnificent translucent color punctuated with air bubbles that create unique patterns.

About her work, the artisan says: 'I love creating jewelry with materials that most people would discard. Let's all take the time to think about the endless opportunities we have to give 'waste' materials another chance.'

You can see where it’s been on the map and if you’re mopping, that feature makes it great because you know where you can go ahead and mop. It’s SO MUCH QUIETER than the Rumba and the Shark brand. It gives you the option to select rooms that you want vacuumed without having to do all rooms, it does use a bag and that concern me at first because I didn’t won’t to buy bags. These bags last for a few months at a time and I’ve got an indoor cat so that means lots of hair. It does an awesome job going anywhere it needs too and does great at picking up. It’s not large size base and fits nicely in a one foot area. Over all I would definitely recommend and buy again from this company, the price and value to me is way better than the other Big Brands.
