With Mips® Evolve Core rotational energy management, a simple Roc Loc® Junior fit system, and bold style, Scamp Mips® II will have kids asking for more time in the trailer or on the bike.

The Scamp Mips II is Giro's smallest helmet designed for young (or future) riders but it still goes big with features and style. Taking design cues from adult helmets like Manifest Spherical, this lightweight in-mold helmet features impact-dissipating EPS foam with a sturdy polycarbonate shell, plus 13 vents for efficient cooling power. The Mips® Evolve Core helps reduce rotational energy in certain impacts, and the Roc Loc® Junior fit system provides extra adjustability with a simple-to-use dial for several years of head protection for fast-growing rippers. The XS is designed for riders aged 1 and older while the Small is for riders aged 5 and older. Whether they're rolling along in a trailer or powering the pedals themselves, Scamp Mips II is going to make kids want more bike time.

Features:

  • The two‐piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight.
  • All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro's Mips®‐equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to the rider's brain in certain impacts.
  • Roc Loc® Jr. is a simple, durable, dial fit system specifically shaped to match the curvature of a child's head. The shape was developed with years of research into anatomic data to ensure a secure, comfortable fit. A large, rubberized knob makes it easy for adults to adjust the helmet for proper tension, allowing kids to quickly start their ride.

Just aren’t large enough.
This is a great idea, and I can wear socks over them and not notice they are there. I just wish they came in a larger size. When I put cream around the edges of my heels where the cracks always are, I cannot stretch the socks wide enough to clear the heel without smearing the cream onto my fingers or on the sock cuff. They do stay in place and aren't squishy at all when walking. They smell good too. The price is right. I wore them overnight and my heels were indeed much softer and smoother than before, and felt moist (tacky) where the cream had been. So they do an amazing job, but after using them six nights, they just aren’t large enough for me to put on without a hassle.

Works for foot psoraisis
Size: 2 pairs black L
Got these for work (service industry) to reduce issues with psoriasis and blisters while putting on 20k+ steps a day. Over time the wounds healed and I could work without so much pain. I now don't use them all the time like I used to, only when a new lesion or blister appears, too prevent a breakout. Tip: if you're not in full breakout, wear thick socks under these as a barrier to friction.

Work well but run small
Size: 1 pair black L
They do seem to run a bit small. I bought them for my bf but snagged them from him because I couldn’t resist! I’m about a W8/12 and they were just a little big but unlike others, I just put them on while sleeping and didn’t walk around with them. If you’re just planning on that, they did a great job at sloughing and moisturizing 😎

Good socks they work.
Size: 2 pairs black L
I normally wear size 13&half to 14 men's, and these fit me ok. They sit just below the ankle. They can get a little tight for me so you should look out for that if you are on the thicker side. But they work as advertised and help moisturize your feet. I recommend wearing them if you're going to just be hanging around home for a bit in one spot as they can be a little slippery to walk in if you go fast. Would not recommend going up and down stairs.
