Gold Medal Process
Picked: The Martinelli's Gold Medal process begins with a special blend of U.S. grown fresh picked apples of the finest varieties, including the flavorful Newtown Pippin. This helps us achieve the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness with no added sweetners or chemical preservatives.
Pressed: The apples are thoroughly washed and hand-sorted to remove any defects and then ground to a pulp and cold pressed to release the delicious fresh juice.
Pasteurized: Our premium cold pressed Gold Medal Sparkling Cider is then flash-pasteurized in the bottle, carbonated, capped and quickly cooled to retain the fresh picked apple flavor. The result is a premium quality product with extended shelf life without added sweeteners or chemical preservatives. The most sophisticated equipment and quality control methods are applied at every step in Martinelli's Gold Medal process to ensure superior quality.
