Fox Union BOA® Flat Shoes are set to take your mountain bike adventures to new and more confident levels of you, providing a customized fit via the dual BOA® Li2 system featured in these trail-ready shoes. Our #1 footwear style has once again raised the bar with another update, this time an all-new upper (a blend of TPU welded upper featuring ripstop to provide a durable and more breathable experience), construction, and enhanced fit.  The flat-pedal version of the Fox Union BOA® mountain bike shoes stick confidently to your platform pedals and are built with robust features including a molded cap design to protect against rock strikes. With a lightweight and precise fit, the low-profile, custom-tuned EVA midsole ratchets up your pedal grip and feel, giving you more comfort while you shred. Power to the pedal is optimized care of the molded internal stiffening plate, but it's not stiffness at the expense of off-bike comfort. The sole is designed using the Ultratac™ rubber compound, with the engineered tread pattern providing best-in-class grip and durability. They have torn up Fenrir hammers, the black kongs of all sizes, the monster k9 stick, nylabones, and they don’t like the goughnut at all (it stinks like a bad tire). This is the first one they both love and haven’t been able to destroy immediately. It does allow little tooth marks, but that’s what makes it fun for them. They are very happy playing with it and I’d say this one was worth every dollar. Update Months Later: We’ve gone through 2/3 now. I got two initially, and one has lasted long term. They still haven’t completely destroyed it. They did destroy a second one quickly so I suspect a flaw in it. They sent me a new one and they took a while, but they did destroy the third to the point we had to throw it away. Despite that, one still remains and our dogs still love it. It’s still the best for the money compared to others. We have two Bully XL’s that are each close to 100 pounds.
