BÉAR, Liza, and Willoughby SHARP (editors). Avalanche Magazine, Issues 1–6. New York: Kineticism Press. 1970–72.

Six vols (Fall 1970, Fall 1971, Winter 1971, Lenz 1972, Summer 1972, Fall 1972), 4to. Original stapled wrappers; illustrated in black and white throughout; minimal wear to spines, some occasional creasing to edges, staples slightly rusted; a very good set.

The first six issues of the independent art magazine Avalanche, closely associated with post-minimalist, post-studio conceptual artists.

Co-founded and edited by New York-based filmmaker Liza Béar and artist Willoughby Sharp, Avalanche was published for thirteen issues between 1970 and 1976. Consisting of artist interviews and documentation of performances, Avalanche serves as an illuminating primary source for understanding the conceptual art scene in New York during the early 1970s. The magazine provided artists with both a platform to share their voices and space in which to engage with new readerships. Seen as a counterpart to Andy Warhol’s
Interview magazine, Avalanche played a crucial role in connecting the experimental art scenes of New York and Europe.

These first six issues feature works and interviews by artists as eminent as Vito Acconci, Joseph Beuys, Yves Klein, Jannis Kounellis, Bruce Nauman, Yvonne Rainer, and Lawrence Weiner.

Great price
Color: 3675 Silver Grey
The watch looks like it should cost more than the actual price. It catches people's eye and so far it keeps accurate time. Keep in mind I've only had the watch about two weeks. Of my 10 every day watches this one is the most attractive.

Good attractive value
Color: 3676 ALL Black
This watch is a very good value imo. Looks like a quality watch. Band is adjustable and comes with a tool to assist in removing band pins. Keeping time very good. I would buy it again and will buy another in a different style

Men’s Watch
Color: 3675 Silver Black
Within two weeks of normal wear, the watch quit keeping time and the band broke. Returned for a refund.
