An accessible, focused exploration of the field of political ecology

The third edition of Political Ecology spans this sprawling field, using grounded examples and careful readings of current literature. The latest edition of this seminal work is also more closely focused, with references to recent work from around the world. Further, Political Ecology raises critical questions about śtraditionalť approaches to environmental questions and problems. This new edition:

Includes international work in the field coming out of Europe, Latin America, and Asia

Explains political ecology and its tendency to disrupt the environmental research and practice by both advancing and undermining associated fields of study

Contains contributions from a wide range of diverse backgrounds and expertise

Offers a resource that is written in highly-accessible, straightforward language

Outlines the frontiers of the field and frames climate change and the end of population growth with the framework of political ecology

Beautiful but terrible quality.
While I absolutely loved the idea of cutting boards with a stand, these were not the right choice. The wood is exceptionally soft and after the first use the gouges from my knife were pretty deep. After I washed the cutting board from cutting veggies, it started to splinter. Maybe I just got a defective set but I definitely do not recommend this set. Will be returning and getting a different brand/board.

Comprehensive and Engaging New Testament Resource
Format: Hardcover
From Pentecost to Patmos, 2nd Edition by Craig Blomberg is an outstanding introduction to the New Testament books from Acts through Revelation. The author combines scholarly depth with clarity, making it an excellent resource for both students and lay readers looking to deepen their understanding of Scripture. Blomberg’s analysis is thorough, offering historical context, theological insights, and practical applications. The updated content in this second edition keeps it relevant, and the engaging writing style makes complex topics approachable. I especially appreciated how each book is tied to its overarching theme in the New Testament narrative. This book is perfect for college courses or personal study, offering a well-rounded exploration of these essential biblical texts. A must-read for anyone serious about understanding the New Testament!

Required for class but an interesting book
Format: Hardcover
Studying the Gospels in class, we specifically used this textbook for the study of the Gospels written by Paul and John. Very informative and not a difficult read.
