Description:
Cortec® EcoAir® Tool & Die Rust Preventative is and easy to use vegetable oil/solvent-based aerosol designed for rust prevention on tools, molds and dies. It can also be used for general corrosion protection on most metals. It forms a tenacious film on metal surfaces that repels water and protects against corrosive elements such as chlorides and sulfur compounds. It also provides excellent lubrication and loosens frozen and rusted metal parts. EcoAir® Tool and Die Rust Preventative displaces moisture and cleans greases, oils, adhesives and water deposits off metal surfaces. It is non-flammable.

Packaging:
EcoAir® Too & Die Rust Preventative is packaged in 10 oz. (286 g) air-powered bag-on-valve spray cans. Sold in a box containing 12 cans. Store indoors and out of direct sunlight at 40-100ºF.

How to Use:
Shake well before use. Spray on metal surface from a distance of 1-2 feet (30-61 cm). For best results, apply a thin, even coating. The product can be easily removed with alkaline cleaners, such as Cortec® VpCI®-414.

Typical Applications:
Use for long term rust prevention of tooling and dies up to 24 months indoor. Use also for temporary storage, maintenance and lubrication. Works as general anti rust on metal surfaces including sheet metal, wire, pipes, flanges and machined parts. Protects ferrous metals, galvanized steel, aluminum, brass, copper and zinc.
