This medium-light tonewood provides warmth and clarity, contributing to the guitar's tonal excellence. The Double Agent also sports a roasted maple neck that undergoes a heat treatment at over 300°F, not just for stability but also for a distinctive visual. The medium oval neck profile makes for a comfortable playing experience, with 22 nickel alloy frets on its rosewood fingerboard. The 12-inch fingerboard radius increases playability and comfort.

The Double Agent W's unique pickup configuration combines a Reverend HA5 Humbucker in the bridge, with a Reverend 9A5 in the neck for a broad selection of tonal choices. At the bridge is a classic-style, Alnico V–loaded powerhouse with extra windings for added drive and punch. Complementing it is the Reverend 9A5 Single-coil at the neck, a P-90-style pickup with 42-gauge wire and Alnico V magnets, delivering a clear and open tone. A Bass Contour control adds a layer of tonal versatility, allowing players to tighten the low end, and revoice the pickups.

The Double Agent sports a gloss polyurethane finish that ensures durability while also allowing the natural beauty of the Metallic Silver Freeze finish to be displayed. A hand-initialed, serial-numbered headstock adds a touch of exclusivity to the Double Agent W, echoing the craftsmanship and attention to detail found in custom-shop instruments.
