Deze MCT olie is gemaakt van 100% kokoslie en bestaat daardoor voor 99% uit caprylzuur/C8.
MCT staat voor Medium-Chain Triglyceride en is een type vetzuur. Medium-Chain betekent dat de vetzuren een middellange keten hebben. MCT olie geeft snel energie en wordt niet opgeslagen als vet. Daarom wordt het ook door sporters gebruikt als supplement. MCT olie heeft een neutrale smaak en kan zowel koud als warm gebruikt worden ter vervanging van andere oliën en vetten. Maximaal verhitten tot 177 graden Celsius. Eventueel bezinksel is normaal.
