Vandaag de dag behoort Cazes tot een van de grootste biologische wijngoederen – en tot de besten. Het wijnhuis heeft inmiddels tweehonderd hectare wijngaarden en produceert vijftien soorten wijn. Die diversiteit ontstaat uit nieuwsgierigheid en experimenteerlust, maar eigenlijk vooral door de grote variëteit aan terroirs in dit gebied. In feite zijn de teelt- en productiemethoden die van een klein wijngoed. De Canon du Maréchal komt van een terroir met een klei, leisteen en kiezels. Een ideale ondergrond voor het rijpen van verschillende druifsoorten. Het wijnhuis maakt top wijnen die allemaal hooggewaardeerd worden. Deze rode wijn wordt gemaakt van vijftig procent Syrah en vijftig procent Grenache. De druiven worden deels traditioneel vergist met temperatuur gecontroleerde verkoeling en het andere deel wordt modern met koolzuur inweking vergist om fruitigheid te geven aan de wijn. Kwaliteit staat bij dit wijnbedrijf boven aan en alleen het beste sap is goed genoeg voor hun wijnen.Een soepele en aangename rode wijn van Cazes
Een mooie donkerrode kleur is veel belovend. In de geur heeft hij indrukken van de Syrah zoals peper, kruiden en zwart fruit. In de smaak is ook de Grenache goed waarneembaar, deze zorgt voor een zachte aanzet en fijn mond gevoel. Smaak indrukken die wij noteerde zijn soepel en aangenaam zacht met een echt mediterraan karakter. De Le Canon Du Marechal Syrah Merlot Cazes heeft een plezierige afdronk. De wijn komt het beste tot zijn recht als aperitief of bij gebraden gevogelte, wit vlees en bij vele rode vleessoorten.Shipping Notes

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.

A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it.
Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world.

Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined.
I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark.
The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about.
There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Unexpectedly emotional and packed with action!

Why do I suddenly want nothing more than a tiny wyvern to snuggle with?! It’s adorable and I absolutely love all of those moments! Wings of Stars was everything I’ve come expect from this powerful author duo. The fact that it’s written by two different people is completely transparent to the reader and they’ve brought us another world and characters that we’re all emotionally connected to and fully invested in! The injustice that we see from Alfemir in the many forms in which it comes is infuriating and makes me desperate for the conclusion of the story so they can all get what’s coming to them! I love all the guys right now, with one exception, and if you’re read it, you know exactly who I’m talking about. Bastian is hilarious - he was the comedic relief through an otherwise quite serious story. My heart bleeds for him and I can’t wait to see how he progresses through the series. Parts of Wings of Stars were unexpectedly emotional and of course I was left with my jaw on the floor at that cliffhanger! Next, please!

Niz !!!

First, let me say that I love both of these authors. I have been hooked by both ever since I discovered their writings, and I follow their social media groups closely. This book did not disappoint. Sure, there are several questions that I have, a couple of times I went huh (which I won't get into because I do not want to offer any spoilers) and I hated the cliff hanger lol, but I cannot lie and say I didn't love the book, because I did. The twist on angels was new and fresh, even though that is part of my questions. The beginning and ending were the better parts, the middle was needed but sorta bogged a little. Kieran was confusing but relatable. Niz is BY FAR the best character of the book, love NIZ. For me, Bastian is a close second, always loved the crazy ones. The other men were good, but Steele gets on my nerves and as of right now, IMO, he doesn't belong, but we will see how that goes. I have lots of questions, but this was an excellent start to a new series and I cannot wait for the next book. Highly recommend

fallen destiny? more like destined to fall in love

Kieran is an angel, but she doesn't have an affinity. Nothing angers her father more. If she doesn't find an affinity soon she will be cast to earth & have her wings removed. But she has the choice to become a fallen angel, wings turn black, & live her life on edge.
Towards the end of the book things start to make sense. Gabe’s nickname for Kieran, Steele’a hatred, Bastian’s belief that Kieran is powerful. This book ended literally during a war? As one of her friends was injured, and admitted a bit secret? Talk about cliff hanger. The next book comes out August 5th.
