Smelt de ruwe zeep in een waterbad of magnetron en voeg dan geurstoffen, kleurstof enz. toe voordat u het in siliconenvormen giet. Deze zeepbasis bevat geen SLS maar een milder alternatief met hetzelfde effect.

Smelten boven een waterbad: Snijd of hak de zeepbasis in kleinere stukjes en doe ze in een hittebestendige kom. Verhit water in een pan zodat de temperatuur onder het kookpunt komt. Dompel de kom met de zeep onder in het waterbad. De zeep smelt bij 70-75°C. Smelten in de magnetron: Hak de zeepbasis in kleine stukjes en doe deze in een magnetron in een magnetronbestendige kom. Stel de temperatuur in op 80% van de max. temperatuur en verwarm de zeep voor max. 30 seconden per keer. Verwijder de kom, roer en plaats hem weer met tussenpozen van 30 seconden, totdat alle zeep is gesmolten. Dit is een snelle en effectieve techniek. Desgewenst kunt u geurolie, zeepkleurstoffen enz. Aan de vloeibare zeepmassa toevoegen voordat u deze in siliconenvormpjes giet. Na het gieten in de mal, laat de zeep idealiter een paar dagen staan voordat hij wordt ingepakt.
