Krachtige Hybride Dual-Mono Versterker met HIGH BIAS

In het voorversterkergedeelte van de Advance Paris MyConnect 250 worden vacuümbuizen gebruikt om het audiofiele karakter van dit apparaat te versterken. De krachtige Klasse AB eindversterker is opgebouwd volgens het Dual-Mono principe en levert indrukwekkende prestaties: 2 x 190W bij 8 Ohm en 2 x 280W bij 4 Ohm. Kenmerkend voor Advance Paris is de HIGH BIAS-schakeling, waardoor de versterker bij lagere vermogens (tot ca. 10% van het totale vermogen) als een Klasse A versterker functioneert, wat ruim voldoende is voor normaal gebruik. Wanneer er meer vermogen wordt gevraagd, schakelt de versterker geruisloos over naar Klasse AB. Audiofielen waarderen de subtiliteit waarmee muziek wordt gereproduceerd in Klasse A modus. HIGH BIAS kan aan/uit worden geschakeld aan der achterkant, waardoor de gebruiker zelf kan bepalen welke instelling de beste luisterervaring biedt in combinatie met de aangesloten luidsprekers.

Een overvloed aan connectiviteit

Naast de interne bronnen biedt de MyConnect 250 talloze mogelijkheden om extra apparaten aan te sluiten. Voor digitale bronnen zijn er maar liefst 3 coaxiale, 3 optische, AES/EBU, USB-A en USB-B digitale ingangen beschikbaar. Ook HDMI-ARC (voor het regelen van het volume via de TV-afstandsbediening) en HDMI–Audio voor beeldbronnen zijn beschikbaar. De HDMI-audio ingang kan gebruikt worden voor Blu-ray spelers die een separate HDMI-audio uitgang hebben. Deze ingang kan ook het audiosignaal extraheren uit het HDMI-signaal (bijvoorbeeld van een gameconsole) en converteren naar een analoog signaal en dat via de interne D/A-converter doorgegeven aan de versterker. Voor analoge bronnen zijn er 5 AUX-ingangen, 2 XLR-ingangen en een Phono MM/MC-ingang (met high & low input). Ook opmerkelijk zijn de twee subwooferuitgangen, waarbij de doorlaatfrequentie kan worden ingesteld op 75Hz of 125Hz. Bovendien kunnen zelfs 3 paar luidsprekers worden aangesloten en geschakeld naar wens en mogelijkheden.

Hoogwaardige Digitale-Analoog omzetter (DAC)

Moderne topklasse apparaten kunnen alleen als topkwaliteit worden beschouwd als ze zijn uitgerust met een uitstekende D/A-omzetter. Advance heeft een voortrekkersrol gespeeld in de integratie van DAC’s en zet deze traditie voort. In de MyConnect 250 wordt gebruikgemaakt van de TI PCM 1796-chip (32 bit/768 kHz) DAC, die garant staat voor sublieme geluidsprestaties. Dankzij de asynchrone USB-B ingang met de XMOS-chip kunnen Hi-Res audiobestanden zoals DSD84, DSD128 en DSD256 worden afgespeeld, zowel in directe DSD- als DSD-over-PCM (DoP)-modus.

Optima forma-hooftelefoonversterker

De MyConnect 250 is uitgerust met twee hoofdtelefoonuitgangen (3,5 mm en 6,3 mm jack) die worden gevoed door een hoogwaardige hoofdtelefoonversterker. Voor een optimale aanpassing aan uw hoofdtelefoon kunnen zowel de uitgangsimpedantie als de versterkingsfactor worden aangepast via schakelaars aan de achterzijde. Deze functies bieden zelfs veel losse hoofdtelefoonversterkers niet standaard aan. Met de MyConnect 250 kunt u dus optimaal van uw hoofdtelefoon(s) genieten.

Hoogwaardige Bluetooth connectie

Advance Paris is sinds de opkomst van Bluetooth een specialist op dit gebied. De MyConnect 250 is voorzien van een slimme innovatie: een digitale ingang voor een optionele Advance Paris X-FTB01 of X-FTB02 Bluetooth-ontvanger. In tegenstelling tot veel andere Bluetooth-ontvangers, die zijn uitgerust met een relatief eenvoudige ingebouwde DAC, maakt de X-FTB01/02 een directe verbinding (Direct Path) met de hoogwaardige DAC in de versterker zelf.

Eenvoudige bediening

De MyConnect 250 is heel eenvoudig te bedienen. Met de volumeknop kunnen ook de menu-setup instellingen en o. a. lage en hoge tonen (met ByPass-optie), loudness en de balans worden ingesteld. Met de linkerknop kunnen de analoge en digitale ingangen gekozen worden, met er tussenin praktische bedientoesten voor de Cd-speler. Een systeemafstandsbediening, waarop ook presets voor radiozenders kunnen worden vastgelegd, wordt standaard meegeleverd. Om energie te besparen, schakelt de versterker automatisch over naar de stand-by modus als er gedurende 30 minuten geen inkomend signaal wordt gedetecteerd, zoals voorgeschreven door EU-voorschriften. Deze functie kan echter ook worden uitgeschakeld via het setup-menu.

I have to use these for about 1/2 a year. I keep bronchitis and sinusitis from about Oct. to April every since I was a child. When I am suffering with these I can't breath through my nose, epically at night while sleeping and would wake up several times a night with dry mouth so bad ir was literally painful. My mom turned me on to these because she was using the with her CPAP. I sometimes have a bit of difficulty getting them to stay put but overall they are great. I have tried the OG, cinnamon, and berry. The OG have no real taste, but you wake up with a sweet taste in your mouth. I tried the cinnamon because I love cinnamon and didn't listen to the reviews stating how strong the flavor is, big regret, it's like putting two or three fireballs in your mouth, won't be making that mistake again. The berry ones are actually best in my opinion. They have a light berry flavor that isn't overpowering, isn't quite as sweet as the OG. Whichever one you choose you won't wake up in pain. I do suggest using only one at first as opposed to the two they recommend, unless you like waking up with your head on a water logged pillow. One generally gets me through the night unless my congestion is super bad, then I will sometimes have to use a 2nd one about 1/2 way through my night when I wake up for the bathroom and realize it's already completely dissolved.

Excellent lozenges for dry mouth that stick to the gum and stay in place

I've used these for years for dry mouth both during the day and at night. The have a very pleasant mint-like flavor and last for hours. What's unique about them is that one side of the lozenge has the ability to "stick" to your gum and it actually stays there. Simply put it in your mouth, push it to the spot you prefer (I like it towards the back over molars) and it will stay there for hours slowly melting and providing dry mouth relief. It works at night when you're asleep and I've never had it move or slip out of place with the risk of choking on it. It is a hard lozenge, not soft which I imagine contributes to its long life. It's roughly 1/2" in size so it will fit smaller mouths easily. If you have dry mouth, I highly recommend this lozenges and if you buy the 3 pack, they are really good value for the money.

I wake up with my breath feeling fresh and my mouth not emulating the sahara desert. It took me a while to get use to these. I had to find a spot where it was comfortable and stayed put (for me thats right above the tooth right behind (the next one back from) the canine, pushed as far up into my gum/lip area as it can go. The size takes some getting used to also (they arent huge they just feel big once in you can still talk and go about your day as normal and no kne will notice it), however they do last all night. Once you get the hang out of they’re actually quite easy to use. I have tried both the mint (which is mild and pleasant no burning sensation and gives the freshest feeling in the morning) and the plain ones (works but being plain your mouth doesnt feel as fresh in the morning, these are great if you hate mint or worse have a mint allergy, personally I find this very thoughtful of the company) These 100% work. I dont even sleep with my mouth open (has been confirmed) and I would still wake up with the dryest of dry mouths, it gets so bad it’ll actually wake me sometimes. My mouth would hurt in the mornings because it would be so dry. Went in search of anything that could help and stumbled upon these tablets. Figured why not. So glad I did because now I put one of these in every night before bed and when I wake up my mouth isn't dry, these really do help keep your mouth salivating throughout the night. I use them during the day sometimes too. Xylitol is the only thing I've found that actually helps dry mouth. Which in turns helps your teeth stay healthy. (so win win in my book)

I was having issues with dry mouth during the night as I use a CPAP. Besides checking over all the hardware and seals for my CPAP, and setting temperatures/humidity, there is only so much to control. My dry mouth was causing my cheeks and jaw to get severely dried out and would wake up with an unpleasant sticking due to the dryness. First night, I tried 1 of these on my upper molars, and it already was working wonders, but my mouth was still dry, but 80% better than the previous night without the XyliMelts. Next time I tried 2, one on each side of my lower molars, and it worked wonders! I still woke up with a little dry mouth, but it was such an improvement I will be using these every night going forward. Each XyliMelt is individually packaged, so you don't have to worry about freshness. They pop out of the foil easily, and you can set them into your gumline before they start to set. Once they set, they do stay put. Just follow the simple directions on the box and you won't have issues. I also really like that you can drink liquids after putting them in, if needed, as I often drink water before bed, or if I wake up in the middle of the night. The taste is excellent, a very, very light minty taste, enough to be good, but not overpowering and you will quickly forget about it, which is probably what you would want when using at night. The thickness of the melt itself is a little big, and I'll notice it in my mouth while falling asleep, but it isn't disruptive enough to distract you or wake you up. Overall, a super good product, although slightly expensive.I think part of that is due to a niche product, but also the packaging - which to be fair is nice, since it will keep each individual melt fresh and the breakout packs mean you can take some traveling easily without worrying about bottles etc. My only complaints in the end would be the price (I will look to buy bulk now that I know they work for me) and maybe the fact it won't last a full 7-8 hrs of sleep for me, but still highly recommended for dry mouth!
