Deze e-learning is ontwikkeld voor verpleegkundigen, verzorgenden IG, studenten verpleegkunde en geneeskundestudenten die betrokken zijn bij wondzorg. Wondzorg is een belangrijk onderdeel van verpleegtechnisch handelen. Een goede wondbehandeling vraagt om hygiënisch werken, zorgvuldig observeren en het volgen van vaste stappen uit protocollen en richtlijnen.

  • Wat zijn acute en chronische wonden?
    Je leert acute en chronische wonden van elkaar onderscheiden en begrijpt de belangrijkste oorzaken, kenmerken en klinische relevantie van verschillende wondtypen.
  • Wondbeoordeling en alarmsignalen
    Je leert wonden systematisch beoordelen, signalen van infectie en complicaties herkennen en onderscheid maken tussen wondkenmerken die passen bij normale genezing en signalen die om snelle actie vragen.
  • Wondtypen en diagnostisch redeneren
    Je leert verschillende acute wondsoorten herkennen, zoals schaafwonden, snijwonden, scheurwonden, bijtwonden, chirurgische wonden en brandwonden. Ook leer je chronische wonden zoals ulcus cruris en diabetische voet systematisch beoordelen en klinisch redeneren op basis van wondkenmerken en risicofactoren.
  • Behandelopties en zorgstrategieën
    Je leert per wondtype passende wondzorg toepassen, waaronder wondreiniging, verbandkeuze, verzorging van chirurgische wonden, het verwijderen van hechtingen en het signaleren van complicaties, conform de basisprincipes van veilige en doelgerichte wondzorg.
