De ontwikkelaars hebben ervoor gekozen om niet te tornen aan de perfectie van het Game Boyorigineel uit 1989 en weten daarmee een klassieke Tetrisgame af te leveren. Het grootste verschil met alle draagbare voorgangers is de aanwezigheid van kleurrijke beelden. De achtergrond verandert van kleur naarmate je meer lijnen bouwt en de felgekleurde blokken zijn gemakkelijk te onderscheiden. Tetris DX biedt drie manieren om te spelen: de traditionele Marathon Mode, maar ook een Ultra Mode en 40 Line Mode. In Ultra Mode moet je zoveel mogelijk punten halen binnen drie minuten. Daarbij is het belangrijk om verschillende lijnen gelijktijdig te verwijderen, zodat je lekker veel scoort. In 40 Line Mode moet je zo snel mogelijk veertig lijnen halen. Het spel slaat je snelste tijden en hoogste scores op, dus dat wordt flink oefenen om luttele seconden van je beste tijd te schaven of er net wat extra punten uit te persen. Je kunt het ook opnemen tegen de computer of met een vriend linken, om lekker eentegeneen te? Tetrissen.

I hate those frames that have those tiny thin metal tabs that stick out where you have to bend up/down to remove backing but not this one! I thought this one had glass but was wrong, it has the thin plexiglass type covering where you remove the clear stickers from front/back. It will work but because I have it used in a bathroom, I will need to get a glass replacement eventually. Love the gold color, it's a really pretty gold, not overly yellow.
