De kogel heeft als functie de bestanddelen tijdens het gebruik te mengen, wat aan het werk een homogene textuur geeft. Uni Posca acrylmarkers zijn dekkend, en drogen snel en watervast op. De kleuren kunnen worden gemengd als de verf nog nat is, en moeiteloos worden overgeverfd als die eenmaal droog is.
