Het dal heeft een uniek klimaat met warme middagen en wat koelere nachten, hierdoor rijpt de Albariño druif rustig en zeer evenwichtig. Bij de ideale rijpheid worden de Albariño druiven geoogst en met de hand zeer zorgvuldig geoogst. Het sap is echt van ongekende kwaliteit en een heel stuk voller dan zijn kleine broertje.

Op de Lie gerijpt deze Albariño Lias

Na de oogst rijpt deze witte wijn maar liefst tien maanden op de Lie, dat wil zeggen op zijn dode gistcellen. Deze techniek geeft een hoop extra werk voor de wijnmaker maar geeft een ongekend mooie smaak aan deze wijn. De Albariño druif is bij uitstek geschikt om op de Lie te rijpen en geeft hierdoor echt heel veel geur en smaak aan deze witte Martin Codax

De geur en smaak van de Martin Codax Lias

Deze Lias Albariño is een hout gelagerde witte wijn van Martin Codax, echt zeer verfijnd en rijpe smaken. In de geur ontdekten we aroma's van rijp fruit zoals, perzik, appel en peer met een klein beetje mineralen. De smaak is mild, krachtig en rijk. Mooie rijpe smaken van wit en veel geel fruit en een hint van karamel en honing, maar de afdronk van deze Martin Codax Albariño Lias blijft fris en levendig. Deze wijn is ook goed te combineren met veel verschillende gerechten zoals diverse kip gerechten, gegrilde vis is heerlijk, parelhoen en natuurlijk een heerlijk bord pasta. Ook kan deze Martin Codax Albariño Lias zeker nog een aantal jaren door rijpen op de fles, hij zal snel voller en romiger worden.

Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps!! I actually ordered 2 pairs, one for my son in the 12-18 months (even tho he was 10 months old) and a 6-12 month for a friend. The 6-12 month fit my son perfect!! (my son was in a size 5) but I knew they would only last a few weeks so I kept the 12-18 month ones and he started wearing them.
