Wij bevelen het plaatsen van een ovenbeschermrek sterk aan. Het voorkomt dat je per ongeluk met een bloot been tegen de oven aanloopt. Wanneer je je evenwicht verliest is er iets anders dan de oven om tegen te steunen.

 

Over het algemeen zijn saunaovens voorzien van een dubbele of zelfs driedubbele mantel. Dit zou moeten voorkomen dat de buitenzijde van de oven niet te heet wordt. Maar omdat de temperatuur in een sauna kan oplopen tot rond de 100°C wordt ook de buitenzijde van de oven erg warm en kun je je er flink aan verbranden.

 

Het ovenbeschermrek is opgebouwd uit Abachi Latten 80x22 mm.
Het wordt met de bovenzijde net iets boven de bovenzijde van de oven geplaatst.
