Wat is Cortenstaal?
Cortenstaal is een metaallegering van ijzer, verrijkt met koper, fosfor, silicium, nikkel en chroom. Bij blootstelling aan de buitenlucht vormt zich een beschermende roestlaag, waardoor het materiaal niet verder corrodeert. Dit maakt het ideaal voor buitengebruik en geeft de NOX brievenbus zijn kenmerkende, tijdloze uitstraling.

- Cortenstaal brievenbussen zijn zeer sterk, slijtvast, weervast, onderhoudsarm en duurzaam.
- Afsluitbare deur inclusief 2 sleutels.
- Materiaaldikte van het cortenstaal is 1,5 mm.
- Producten worden ongeroest aangeleverd. Het roestproces van cortenstaal duurt ongeveer 4-5 maanden, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden.
- Roest kan gefixeerd worden door het aanbrengen van Owatrol. Dit is een doordrenkend antiroestmiddel dat een beschermlaag tegen het roest vormt. Owatrol beschermt het product en zorgt ervoor dat cortenstaal niet meer afgeeft.
- Professionele onderhoudsmiddelen bij ons verkrijgbaar.
- Producten dienen na ontvangst direct uitgepakt te worden, zodat het eventuele vocht tussen de verpakking en het product niet opgesloten is. Dit kan onregelmatige roestvlekken veroorzaken.
- Wij raden cortenstaal af binnen een straal van 2 km van een kustlijn.
- De garantie vervalt wanneer je gaat boren of slijpen op een manier die niet is voorgeschreven.
- Jaarlijks reinigen door grof vuil op de brievenbus af te spuiten met leidingwater.
