Giulia Negri noemt zichzelf een "Barologirl" en zit zichzelf daarmee stilzwijgend af tegen de door mannen gedomineerde wijnwereld in Piemonte. Ze zweert bij een mix van traditie en innovatie, waarbij respect voor het fruit en de natuur een belangrijke plaats inneemt. 

Haar wijngaarden bevinden zich in Serradenari, een door UNESCO erkend werelderfgoed, en één van de hoogstgelegen gebieden in de regio. De wijn maken doet ze in haar garage, want net als een garagist ziet ze zichzelf dingen afstellen en "tunen", om tot een zo goed mogelijk resultaat te komen. 

Diepe, robijnrode kleur met een paarse schijn. Rode en zwarte bessen, kersen, kruiden en een licht animale toets in de neus. Volle body, medium tannines en uitgesproken zuren. Romig fruit, vegetale toetsen, lichte eik en kruidigheid in de mond. Middellange afdronk. 

Manuele oogst, rijping gedurende 16 maanden in 350-liter tonneaux van Franse eik. 

Gaat perfect bij rood vlees, stevige groenteschotels en gerechten met paddenstoelen. Karaffeer minstens een uur op voorhand, nog zeker de komende vijf jaar op dronk.

Very durable and fun! My Pitbull chews on this constantly and loves to have treats or peanut butter, put in the bottom of it as an extra treat.
