Vandaag de dag voorzien 430 wijnbouwers Bailly Lapierre van druiven. De voornaamste zijn Pinot Noir, Gamay, Chardonnay en als kers op de taart de lokale Aligote. Nabij de grens van Bourgondië vinden we het wijnhuis Bailly Lapierre in het plaatsje Auxerrois. Waar dit wijnhuis op unieke wijze verfrissende wijnen produceren. In de afgelopen jaren maken ze mousserende wijnen die over de hele wereld geliefd zijn en een mooi alternatief bieden voor de duurdere wijnen uit de Champagne streek. Wat begon als individuele wijnhuizen werd samengevoegd als coöperatie. Sinds 2015 werken Les Caves Bailly Lapierre en Les Vignerons de Buxy samen. De druiven worden volledig met de hand geoogst en in open bakken direct naar de wijnmakerij gebracht. Daar worden de Pinot Noir druiven streng geselecteerd en volgt het persen. Er vindt zowel een gist fermentatie als malolactische fermentatie plaats. Tot slot volgt er een tweede gisting op de fles die maar liefst 16 maanden duurt. Mede hierdoor krijgt deze Pinot Noir zijn welbekende bubbeltje.Een complete Pinot Noir van Bailly Lapierre
Allereerst straalt deze Pinot Noir brut in het glas met haar bleekgele kleur en natuurlijk een mooie dansende bubbel. De geur laat aroma’s van wit fruit en wat toast voorbij komen. De smaak is levendig, lekker fruitig en ook sappig. Het is een complete wijn die alle mooie facetten van Pinot Noir in zich heeft, maar dan met een bourgondische draai. Fun Way to Teach Manners

This book was one I read to my daughters when they were young and I am now reading it to my grandsons. I plan to read it to my fourth grade class, as well.

... over with my 3yo and 5yo boys but they loved it!

I wasn't sure how this would go over with my 3yo and 5yo boys but they loved it!! They always enjoy pulling it out and now I can refer back to the characters to remind them of their manners in a more positive way. The only thing is I kinda wish they had used a different animal than pig, since for some reason I don't like saying "don't be like the pigs" (since I don't really want them calling eachother or other kids pigs). But so far it has been fine :) It's also very nice they included "Be kind to animals, they have feelings too." We say that all the time around here since we have kitties. Also the part about table manners is great since we had already been teaching the kids to ask before being excused from the table.

Manners Can Be Fun

What a cute book! I bought it for my 2 and 3 year old boys. We are attempting to teach them simple, common manners in a fun way and they love learning through books. Manners Can Be Fun presents manners in a simple, easy to understand, engaging way. The boys enjoy reading this book and it's a great way to have positive conversations about specific situations they experience daily like sharing toys, picking up after themselves, whining, meal time. It's a fun book!

Wonderful, simple book for children of all ages
Format: Hardcover
I am 65 years old and this was one of my first books. The revisions along the way have not changed the drawings that much. It is simple, but well illustrated, and gives a basic idea of good manners. I recommend it for every child - it makes them think about behavior. The way the author demonstrates "me first" and "whinney" have stuck with me all these years.

LOVE
Format: Hardcover
I must say, I was very touched by this book, the heart behind it specifically. What beautiful illustrations. Our son with autism absolutely LOVES his ABCS and LOVES planes trains and automobiles. Little boys are a gift from God and this book highlights that. From one parent to another, thank you, we all loved it and loved watching his little eyes turn bright and light up. Big hugs.
