Al sorso è ricco, strutturato, equilibrato da una vivace vena acida.La denominazione Puligny Montrachet, in Borgogna, è una delle massime espressioni del chardonnay; il terreno in quest'area è calcareo, con marne argillose sul fondo, che regalano a questi vini struttura, eleganza e concentrazione aromatica. Realizzato da Domaine Roux, affina per circa un anno in botti di rovere prima di essere imbottigliato.
Da provare in abbinamento con carni bianche in salsa, crostacei, pesci grassi alla griglia. Interessante anche con formaggi di latte caprino, tipo Reblochon.
