De Full Coverage Gloves zijn uitermate geschikt voor het behandelen van dieren zoals wilde katten of andere dieren met scherpe klauwen. De scherpe klauwen gaan niet in of door de handschoenwand waardoor de klauwen niet vast zitten in de handschoen of afgerukt kunnen worden. De handschoenen zijn vrij dun en soepel zodat het mogelijk is om gereedschap te bedienen met de handschoenen aan.

De handschoen zijn in principe niet geschikt tegen het bijten van katten en honden. Hoewel de handschoenen enige bescherming bieden tegen de snijtanden, is het mogelijk dat de hoektanden van katten en honden door de handschoen kunnen gaan. Het typische Turtleskin materiaal is vrij dun, snij- en naaldwerend, vrij soepel maar de beet van een kat of hond zal altijd goed gevoeld worden, zelfs al gaan de tanden er niet door! De beet zal gevoeld worden als een kneep op de hand!
