Marlborough is het wijngebied met de ideale omstandigheden voor druiventeelt. En dat blijkt wel uit het succes dat met name de Sauvignon Blanc wijnen uit dit gebied hebben. Het avontuur van dit wijnhuis begon in 2002 toen McCree samen met haar man een oude schapenboerderij met 40 hectare grond vonden. En deze plek bleek uitermate geschikt voor wijnbouw. De Sauvignon Blanc druiven voor de parel van Pounamu zijn afkomstig van twee terrassen uit drie verschillende gebieden binnen de wijngaard. De lagergelegen terrassen bevatten steenachtige slibbodems met fijne zandige leem. De bovenste terrassen bevatten juist meer grind. De druiven worden volledig mechanisch geoogst in de vroege ochtend. Op deze manier kunnen ze de druiventrossen zo snel mogelijk naar de wijnkelder vervoeren en eventuele oxidatie vermijden. Eenmaal in de vinificatieruimte aangekomen worden de druiven direct ontsteeld, voorzichtig geperst en laten ze vervolgens het sap rustig zodat de grovere bestanddelen kunnen bezinken. Vervolgens wordt het sap overgebracht in roestvrijstalen tanks waarna een temperatuur gecontroleerde alcoholische fermentatie plaats vindt voor de duur van twee weken. Hierna volgt een rijpingsperiode op de fijne lie om optimale frisheid en aroma’s te behouden. Na enkele maanden wordt de wijn na een lichte filtering gebotteld en is het tijd om ervan te genieten.Hoe smaakt de Pounamu Special Selection Sauvignon Blanc?
De Sauvignon Blanc van Pounamu kleurt helder lichtgeel in het glas. Deze schitterende wijn heeft in de neus aroma’s van grapefruit, passievrucht en een licht gedroogde basilicum geur. Lightweight and soft

ightweight Cooling Comforter That Actually Feels Good for Hot Nights
This seersucker cooling comforter has been a nice upgrade for warmer nights. It’s very lightweight and breathable, so it doesn’t feel heavy or trapping heat like a traditional comforter. Cooling Blanket for Hot Sleepers, Soft Lightweight Comfort with a Cool-to-the-Touch Feel
This reversible cooling blanket is a great option for anyone who sleeps warm. It’s incredibly soft, very lightweight, and has that instantly cool-to-the-touch feel that makes it especially comfortable for hot sleepers.
What I liked most is how airy and breathable it feels without being heavy or stuffy. It’s comfortable enough to use all night and gives that nice cooling sensation when you first pull it over you. The softness also makes it feel cozy without sacrificing the lightweight design.
My only real wish is that it came with a matching pillowcase, because that would make it feel even more complete as a sleep set.

Cooling Blanket is a sleep saver for me!
This is the second product I have used from bedsmile and as with the other one, this is a great product! It truly is a cooling blanket. I am a very hot sleeper and live in a hot, humid climate, so this has been a sleep saver for me! One side is silky smooth and feels so good on your skin. The other side has a texture to it which is great if you want to use it as your only bedding, which I do. It covers well and hangs over the edges as it should. I ordered the white one and it is bright and unblemished. The silky side magically feels much cooler than typical bedding and keeps me cooler during the night. It is lightweight but heavy enough to make you feel that you are "under the covers". In my opinion, putting additional covers over it would defeat the purpose but if you live in a cooler climate, it would still be beneficial to use this blanket as the silky coolness would help get a good night's sleep anywhere. Another great benefit of this product is that it does not have any strange odors when unpacking. I did wash it before using, but honestly, I am not sure it was necessary.
