De Votronic Mobil Power SMI Inverter 1700 ST-NVS is een krachtige omvormer met pure sinusgolf. Alle huishoudelijke apparaten kunnen op dit apparaat worden gebruikt, mits het toegestane ingangsvermogen niet wordt overschreden. De omvormer is ideaal voor de storingsvrije werking van apparaten op netvoeding, zoals radio- en oplaadhouders, medische apparaten, lampen, accu's, pc's, koelboxen, magnetrons, stofzuigers, föhnen, ventilatoren en vele andere elektrische apparaten.

Als bijzonderheid van de type-serie NVS is de geïntegreerde netprioriteitsschakeling te noemen. Het zorgt ervoor dat bij het sluiten van landstroom de netstopcontacten in het voertuig automatisch van landstroom worden voorzien en de omvormer volledig wordt uitgeschakeld en dus de batterij geen stroom meer ontneemt. Als je het voertuig van de buitenstroom scheidt, neemt de omvormer automatisch (instelbaar) weer de voeding van de 230 V-verbruikers.
