Met 22mm phenolhars zuigers biedt deze remklauw uitstekende remkracht terwijl de warmteoverdracht beperkt blijft. Het geoptimaliseerde retoursysteem zorgt voor een snelle terugloop van de remblokken, waarbij een nauwkeurige ruimte tussen remblok en schijf wordt aangehouden om elk risico op parasitaire wrijving uit te sluiten. Een speciale metalen plaat tussen remblok en zuiger vermindert de trillingen voor een stille en stabiele remwerking.

DeCAMPAGNOLO SUPER RECORD-remklauw is ook ontworpen om het onderhoud te vereenvoudigen. De remblokken hebben een geïntegreerde slijtage-indicator en het vervangen wordt vereenvoudigd door de afwezigheid van terughaalveren.
