De Evolution Link pijpset (RVS) werd samen met het Slip-On Line (Titanium) uitlaatsysteem getest en ontwikkeld om een ideale upgrade en een groter uitlaatafstemmingspotentieel te bieden. Het gebruik van deze configuratie is ontworpen voor het circuit en biedt een sportief geluid en hogere prestaties. Met de eliminatie van de OPF worden de geluidsniveaus en frequentie-inhoud benadrukt, wat zorgt voor een verhoogd geluid, wat leidt tot een opwindende toon met gekraak en gebrabbel als een plezierige en verslavende auditieve aanval op over-run en bij het terugschakelen door versnellingen. De verandering in prestaties is een merkbare factor: vergeleken met back-to-back runs op de Akrapovič dyno tegen een BMW M135i met een standaard stockuitlaat, is er een 5,1 kW (6,9 pk) toename van het vermogen bij 4.250 tpm en 11,5 Nm koppel wordt toegevoegd bij 4.250 tpm.

Bij het installeren van de Evolution Link-buizenset (RVS), die alleen is ontwikkeld voor gebruik op gesloten sporen, is het opnieuw toewijzen van de ECU verplicht om mogelijke waarschuwingssignalen voor "controlemotorlampjes" te voorkomen.
