Dit is geen pan die je na twee jaar vervangt. De Classic Induction is gemaakt van handgegoten, gerecycled aluminium - minimaal 90% gerecyclede grondstof - en voorzien van de iconische Stratanium® anti-aanbaklaag die SCANPAN beroemd heeft gemaakt. Stratanium®: de coating die het verschil maakt

Je hebt vast al eens een pan gehad waarbij de coating na een paar maanden begon te bladderen, of waarbij je meer olie nodig had dan het gerecht zelf. Dat is precies wat SCANPAN heeft willen oplossen met de introductie van Stratanium®. Dit is geen standaard anti-aanbaklaag - het is een gepatenteerde coating die uitzonderlijk glad is, slijtbestendig en bestand tegen metalen keukengerei.

Dat laatste is geen kleine bijzonderheid. Gewone anti-aanbakpannen krassen bij het minste contact met een metalen spatel. Bij de SCANPAN Classic Induction hoef je daar niet omheen te lopen. Gebruik gewoon je favoriete keukengerei - de Stratanium® coating houdt stand. En schoonmaken? Een korte veeg met een vochtige doek of een rondje in de vaatwasser is meer dan genoeg. Zo hoort koken te zijn: lekker bezig zijn in de keuken, niet scrubben achteraf.

Bovendien bakt Stratanium® eerlijk. Geen hotspots, geen verbrande randen terwijl het midden nog rauw is. Het handgegoten aluminium verdeelt de warmte gelijkmatig over de hele bodem - ø 182 mm bodemdiameter - zodat jij je focust op het smaakvolle eindresultaat.

Van fornuis naar oven, van ontbijt tot diner

De Classic Induction is gebouwd voor dagelijks gebruik op elk soort fornuis. Inductie? Geen probleem - de pan is volledig inductiegeschikt. Maar de veelzijdigheid stopt daar niet. Dankzij de ovenbestendigheid tot 250°C is deze pan ook je beste vriend voor gerechten die je start op het vuur en afmaakt in de oven. Denk aan een perfect gebakken kipfilet met een knapperige korst, of een frittata die je rustig laat garen terwijl jij de tafel dekt.

Not perfect but a good pencil for a good price.
Not as user friendly as the original pencil and battery doesn’t seem to hold a charge very long. After about 4 hours of being charged it was down to 46%. That was intermittent use and non use, with about 3 hours actual use. To charge the original pencil I pulled off the end exposing the lightening connector and plugged it into the receptacle on my iPad. This requires a USB-C cable connection from either the charger or the iPad. Admittedly, it’s not that big a deal, but it feels like a step backwards from the original. The battery longevity is a little more irksome. The pencil is very easy to use, and I’m actually amazed at how the iPad is able to generate text when I write with it, even with my sometimes barely legible script. Much improved over the original. I can live with the minor irritations because it’s a good value for the price.
