De Château Toulifaut, Pomerol 2014 heeft tonen van zwart fruit en kruiden, voor een levendige wijn met flinke boersigheid. De volle en veelzijdige smaak combineert goed met stevige vleesgerechten, zoals entrecôte, biefstuk en lam, en kaas.

Wijnhuis Château Toulifaut

Net tegenover de wijngaarden van het beroemde Château Cheval Blanc ligt de Château Toulifaut: een kleine wijngaard waar Félicien en Colette met veel liefde de wijnstokken verzorgen. Na elke oogst gebruiken ze de druiven om een klassieke Pomerol te maken voor hun wijnhuis F. Bareige. De Château Toulifaut mag dan wel maar twee hectare groot zijn, de oude stokken geven een mooie diepgang en elegantie aan de Pomerol. Om hun wijnhuis te kunnen uitbreiden nam het echtpaar in 1970 nog enkele wijngaarden, gelegen in de betoverende heuvels van de Saint-Emilion en Montagne Saint-Emilion. Hier verzorgen ze met dezelfde passie voor wijnbouw de druivelaars. Door alles met de hand te doen volgens eeuwenoude tradities garanderen ze steeds weer het perfecte glas wijn. En de volgende generatie is ondertussen gegarandeerd: de oudste dochter Christelle leerde de knepen van het vak van haar vader en staat klaar om het wijnhuis over te nemen.

The pillows are well made and feel like expensive down filled pillows but softer. I am VERY satisfied with the pillows. I just wish I would have found these pillows years ago.
