Dit betekent dat water van buitenaf wordt tegengehouden en transpiratievocht van binnenuit naar buiten kan. De jas is bovendien gewatteerd, wat voor extra warmte zorgt doordat de lucht die tussen de stiksels wordt vastgehouden opwarmt. De zijzakken zijn voorzien van een ritssluiting en onder de mouw zit een liftpashouder. Verder heeft de jas een vaste capuchon, een grote comfy kraag die aan de binnenkant is gevoerd met heerlijk zacht teddybont en lycra binnenmanchetten met duimgaten bij de polsen. De onderboord is elastisch. De jas is PFC-vrij om het gebruik van deze schadelijke chemische stof te beperken. De Lilous JR van Protest is een must-have jas voor de winter.
