Zowel de lange lijst aan inbegrepen technologie als het moderne ontwerp duiden er direct op dat de ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet voorzien is van alle laatste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van CPAP therapie. Dit wordt nogmaals onderstreept door het feit dat het apparaat in 2022 bekroond is met de Good Design Award. Dankzij de gepatenteerde Easy-Breathe motor, en het daarbij behorende geluidsniveau van slechts 27 decibel, biedt de AirSense 11 een geruisloze gebruikerservaring. Daarnaast is het apparaat voorzien van een handige sensor die de helderheid van het scherm automatisch naar beneden brengt wanneer het licht in de slaapkamer uit wordt gedaan. Bovendien is de standaard meegeleverde SlimLine slang zeer licht en flexibel voor extra gebruiksgemak. Kortom, alles voor een comfortabele en goede nachtrust!

Eenvoudig in gebruik dankzij de vele praktische functies

Met het touchscreen en de fysieke aan-uitknop is de AirSense 11 gemakkelijk in te stellen en aan en uit te zetten. Dankzij de SmartStart en SmartStop functie is het mogelijk om de therapie automatisch te laten starten wanneer het masker wordt opgezet en ook automatisch te laten stoppen wanneer het masker weer wordt afgezet. Ook bestaat de optie om met de rampfunctie een automatische of een handmatige aanlooptijd in te stellen. Hierdoor begint de druk lager en wordt deze rustig aan opgebouwd tot de voorgeschreven therapie druk, wel zo prettig tijdens het in slaap vallen. Dankzij de Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR) functie kan de druk ook naar beneden worden bijgesteld tijdens het uitademen voor een natuurlijker adempatroon. De AirSense 11 biedt de mogelijkheid om de EPR voor de gehele nacht of enkel de ramp periode in te stellen. Twijfel of het CPAP masker wel goed zit? Maak dan gebruik van de ingebouwde maskertest en verzeker een goede fit en daarmee een optimaal therapie resultaat. Naast dit alles biedt de AirSense 11 ook de mogelijkheid om een herinnering in te stellen voor het periodiek vervangen van filter, masker en/of slang. Een optimale slaaptherapie binnen handbereik!

Therapie resultaten snel inzichtelijk mede dankzij de myAir app

Via de gratis te downloaden myAir app is het volgen van de voortgang en effectiviteit van de therapie zeer gemakkelijk. Bij voorkeur is het slaaprapport van de laatste nacht ook direct inzichtelijk door middel van het ingebouwde scherm. Daarnaast zijn in de myAir app uitgebreidere resultaten, handige tips en instructievideo’s voor optimaal gebruik terug te vinden. Deze app is zowel via Google Play als de Apple App Store te downloaden. Elke nacht wordt beoordeeld met een score tussen de 0 en 100 wat betreft de effectiviteit van de CPAP therapie. Deze score wordt bepaald aan de hand van het aantal gebruiksuren, de afdichting van het masker, het aantal gebeurtenissen per uur (AHI) en de frequentie van het op- en afzetten van het masker. Tevens biedt de app de mogelijkheid om therapie resultaten over een langere periode te volgen en therapie rapporten te downloaden. Naast dit alles worden de resultaten ook opgeslagen op de standaard meegeleverde SD-kaart. Indien de voorkeur bestaat om de therapie te monitoren via het apparaat zelf, zijn de gebruiksuren, de druk, lekkages en AHI (Apneu Hypopneu Index) ook zeer eenvoudig via het ingebouwde display terug te zien.

Gemakkelijk op reis met de AirSense 11 AutoSet

De AirSense 11 wordt standaard geleverd met een hoogwaardige reistas met schouderband, waardoor het apparaat en de bijbehorende accessoires veilig mee kunnen worden genomen op reis. Deze tas biedt verschillende handige draagopties: in de hand, over de schouder of aan de hendel van een koffer. Bovendien is de reistas voorzien van meerdere compartimenten, een vak speciaal voor overige zaken zoals bijvoorbeeld papieren en een lus voor de CPAP slang. Dankzij de goedkeuring van de FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) is het ook toegestaan om deze Auto CPAP aan boord van het vliegtuig te gebruiken.

Dog tested, dog approved
This is a large, heavy-duty bone. And a great one. My Pitt-mix is very tough on things and can destroy most chew toys in short order. This actually has held up very well to his best attempts. As shown in the picture, after a lot of use over several weeks the most that he's been able to do is to put some small bite marks in it. I'm impressed. That's largely due to the material used. It's a dense, rubbery-type material that's resilient to biting/cutting/tearing. Very solid without being hard. Kind of along the same lines as that used for the popular Chuck-It toys if you're familiar with those (but heavier). I like this softer material better than the nylon bones which he loves but I'm afraid are going to crack a tooth at some point. Has some scent to it but does not have a strong smell. Can't vouch for the flavor but he seems to enjoy it. Again this is large and heavy toy. Probably a little too big/heavy for smaller dogs under say 40lbs or so. Some probably could do it but really better for the bigger dogs. Given how long this one looks like it's going to last, I'd say that it's a very good value. Bottom line - Dog likes it. I like it. Everybody's happy. Great bone. Buy it.

Flavor/Scent May Not Be Very Strong
My pup is picky about toys and the only ones that hold his interest are mostly the scented rubber toys from Playology, They’re great, but expensive, and I was really hoping this would be a cheaper alternative. It really looked like the kind of toy he likes. It’s heavy rubber with a softer texture than the hard toys out there, and it had a lot of surface grooves that lets him grip it with his teeth easily. I gave it to him and he was excited for all of 30 seconds, then he discarded it and hasn’t looked at it since. I suspect the flavor/scent may not be as strong but that’s just a guess. I don’t know if it’s a flaw in the toy or simply a picky pup, so I hesitate to rate this down for that. It does look like a really nice toy and if your dog isn’t a jerk like mine it may be great, and it’s definitely a good price.

Heavy duty rubber bone
This bone is really heavy duty. It's got a groove down the middle of you you can put your pups favorite lickable treat. My 36 lb aussie enjoyed chewing on this and was nibbling the ends. This bone has held up to her chewing it with only a couple little pieces coming off.

Big hit with my super chewer.
Here’s an expanded, Amazon-friendly version that keeps a natural, human tone while adding helpful detail: This is a truly heavy-duty chew bone and a great option for aggressive chewers. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the package was the weight. It’s solid and well made, so it definitely feels like it’s built to last. Because of that, I would recommend being mindful when handing it to your dog and avoiding tossing or dropping it on hard floors or toes. My dog, Yukon, was instantly thrilled with it. From the moment I gave it to him, he’s been carrying it around proudly and settling in to chew on it for long stretches of time. It’s kept his attention much better than lighter chews, and it’s holding up well to his strong jaws so far. I also love that it provides great enrichment and gives him a safe, satisfying outlet for his chewing instincts. Overall, this chew bone has been a big hit in our house. If you have a powerful chewer and are looking for something durable that will actually keep them engaged, this is a solid choice. I’m very glad I picked it up for Yukon and would recommend it to other dog owners with heavy chewers.

Immediate Hit With My Power Chewer!
Immediate hit. Like, didn’t even make it fully out of the package before my dog was sniffling around the package, all excited. I have a serious chewer, the kind that treats most toys like a personal challenge. This one has actually held up. It’s firm and tough, but not rock hard like those nylon bones that make me nervous about teeth. There’s a little bit of give to it, which I like. The beef flavor must be legit because he keeps going back to it. This isn’t one of those toys that gets ignored after five minutes. He’s been happily gnawing on it and hasn’t managed to destroy it yet, which honestly says a lot in this house. I also like the shape and texture. It’s easy for him to hold, and the ridges seem to keep him engaged longer. Bonus points if it’s helping his teeth even a little, because chewing is already his favorite hobby. No toy is truly indestructible, but this has definitely earned its place in the “worth buying again” category. If you’ve got a medium to large dog who lives to chew, this one’s a solid win.
