Over Domaine Rois Mages

In de jaren ‘80 besloten Anne-Sophie en haar man zich in de Bourgogne te vestigen, de regio waar ze verliefd op waren geworden door de prachtige landschappen en de wijngaarden. Felix, een van haar zoons, is in 2009 bij het domein gekomen na een wereldreis. Als gepassioneerd oenoloog en wijnmaker streeft hij ernaar wijnen te creëren die niet alleen traditie maar ook terroir belichamen. Het domein strekt zich nu uit over 11 hectaren over de appellaties Rully en Bouzeron in Côte Chalonnaise en Beaune in Côte de Beaune.

Vinificatie

Na een koude pre-fermentatieve maceratie wordt de wijn 15 dagen gevinifieerd in cuve met pigeages en remontages. Daarna rijpt de wijn 12 maanden op eikenhouten vaten.

Used for 3 or 4 bottles. on the last two, I had to manually turn the device to get the corkscrew in - then pull the cork out. Cork is in the device and it won't come out.
