Proviform gebruikt voor vitamine K2 de biologisch actieve vorm menaquinon-7 (MK7), van K2 VitalDelta® met zijn hoge opneembaarheid en stabiliteit.
Het belang van vitamine D voor de botten is bekend. Recente onderzoeken hebben aangetoond dat de combinatie van vitamine K2 als vitamine MK7 en vitamine D3 effectiever is dan elke voedingsstof alleen. Vitamine K2 en D3 hebben een sterk synergetische werking.
Proviform Vitamine K2 - 200 mcg en D3 - 75 mcg is een volledig natuurlijk product met 100% natuurlijke hulpstoffen.
Het menselijk lichaam produceert zelf vitamine D3 mits de huid voldoende wordt blootgesteld aan zonlicht. Vooral in de wintermaanden lukt dat niet altijd voldoende. Onderzoekers schatten in dat 40% van de 50-plussers een tekort heeft aan deze ‘sunshine’ vitamine. Behalve vette vissoorten zijn er maar weinig voedingsmiddelen die vitamine D bevatten.
Er is zeer veel onderzoek gedaan naar de functies van vitamine D3 in het lichaam. Hieruit is gebleken dat vitamine D veel meer functies heeft dan werd verondersteld. De bevolkingsgroepen met het grootste risico op een vitamine D tekort zijn ouderen, zwangeren, kinderen, mensen met een donkere huid en mensen die bedekkende kleding dragen.

Ingredienten
Vitamine K2, vitamine D3 (wolvet), vegetarische hypromellose capsule, vulstof (rijstmeel).
Gebruik
1 capsule per dag tijdens de maaltijd met water innemen of zoals geadviseerd.Dit voedingssupplement is niet geschikt voor kinderen tot en met 10 jaar.Overleg bij gebruik van coumarinederivaten (antistollingsmiddelen zoals acenocoumarol en fenprocoumon) eerst met een arts alvorens vitamine K2 te gebruiken.

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest.
It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

An improvement over the original product, but could be better
I had used the original Xylimelts a few years back for my night time very dry mouth. They worked very well, completely dissolving overnight, but they caused sores inside my cheeks. Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.

These work well!
These work to keep my mouth moist for hours. The only downside is the glue stays in your mouth till you can scrape it out with your finger. I thought it would dissolve but it didn’t. Very grateful to find something that moistens my mouth for so long though. They’re easy to use too. Taste slightly sweet but otherwise I didn’t notice anything.

Xylimelts Sensitive
I was sensitive to the regular Xylimelts after a few months use. Painful gums and hives inside my lips and cheeks. The sensitive version immediately corrected the problem and I’ve been using them without issue for nearly a year. The product is a lifesaver for drymouth that occurred when I was sleeping.
