Een voorbeeld hiervan is dat een eenvoudig doe-het-zelf-terrarium niet de beste omgeving biedt. Reptielen zijn dieren die een specifiek type omgeving nodig hebben om te gedijen. Als je denkt dat ze alleen in een onderwaterecosysteem kunnen overleven, dan denk je verkeerd. Reptielen zijn koelbloedige wezens die voldoende vochtigheid, temperatuur en ruimte nodig hebben om hun beste leven te leiden. WAAROM VOOR ONS KIEZEN?

    Ventilatiescherm: de eenvoudig te verwijderen schermbovenkant kan worden vastgezet door de vier draaibare sloten aan de zijkant te gebruiken. Het maakt maximale penatratie van zichtbaar licht, ultraviolette en infraroodstraling mogelijk. Waterdichte bodem: het kan water vasthouden aan de glazen deur, elk terrarium is getest op lekken. Dit is vooral geweldig voor reptielen die graag weken en water uit hun kommen kunnen morsen. Onderplaat: de bodemplaat van het terrarium wordt verhoogd om een substraatverwarming te monteren om een deel van het verlengde grondoppervlak te verwarmen. Tankgrootte en soort bepalen de stijl en sterkte van de lamp. Het terrarium van 36"x18"x18" is meestal geschikt voor striplichten (T8-buis) en 24"x18"x24" terrarium voor koepellampen, met lampen van verschillende sterktes gemaakt voor elk.
