De start is in het klassieke hart van Priorat, Clos de Portal en is langzaam uitgewaaierd naar Montsant. In de wijnen uit het koele noorden is meer frisheid te vinden en in de wijnen vanuit de kuststreken meer rijpheid en structuur.

In 2016 bouwt hij een nieuwe kelder voorzien van alle gemakken. Volledig biodynamisch werken is voor hem eerder logisch dan nieuw, dat proef je ook terug. Een topproducent gelegen in een van de mooiste gebieden van Spanje!

Negre de Negre is een blend van Grenache, Carignan, Syrah met een klein deel Touriga Nacional en Cabernet Sauvignon. Een tweede pluk  van de terraswijngaard Finca Portal de pluk na Gotes en voor Somni. 15 maanden rijping op eikenhoutenvaten, krachtige wijn met veel diepgang en spanning tegelijk ook heel puur met veel rijp fruit, zuren en zachte tannine.
