Domaine Vincent Gaudry is een familie‑wijndomein gelegen in Sury‑en‑Vaux in de hart van de Sancerre‑appellatie in de Loire‑vallei. Het domein wordt tegenwoordig geleid door Vincent Gaudry, die de wijngaarden heeft overgenomen van zijn vader en grootvader en daar een heel eigen koers vaart: biologische en biodynamische wijnbouw staat centraal in alles wat ze doen. Vincent laat zijn wijngaarden (ongeveer 11 ha) volledig biologisch beheren en werkt volgens Demeter‑biodynamische principes, wat betekent dat hij o.a. met de natuurlijke ritmes van de seizoenen werkt en zoveel mogelijk interventies uit de wijnkelder vermijdt. De druiven worden vrijwel altijd met de hand geoogst, en de gisting gebeurt met natuurlijke gisten in temperatuur‑gereguleerde tanks om de pure expressie van terroir en druif te behouden.

Beschrijving: Heldere mineraliteit met frisse citrusaroma’s, witte bloemen en een fijne zuurgraad. De smaak is elegant en puur, met de krokante frisheid en levendige energie die je van top‑Sancerre verwacht, aangevuld met een fijne textuur en minerale lengte

We liked the idea of the wireless charging capabilities, but were a little disappointed to discover that the power adapter (wall plug) is not included with the tray. The tray includes a charging pad and a cord, but no wall plug. We don't have an extra pair in the house, so we'll have to wait until a pack arrives before we can test out the charging capabilities. That aside, the trays are a handsome set. I think 20% larger might serve us a tad better, but this will do very nicely for now. We're able to fit almost everything we need in the tray and that will leave the tables looking much tidier, even if one or two items don't quite make it in.
